I feel extraordinary happy that I came across one of Lama Marut's podcasts. He has been very important for me during the last week. Every day I have listened to 2-3 talks and they have opened my eyes in a new way.

Buddhism on Second Life

Yesterday I finally took part in a listening session at the Nirvana Path on Second Life.
The speech was about cultivating metta. This was a nice coincidence since I have chosen the name Metta Lane for my avatar.

There are a couple of buddhist groups on SL. The group I belong to is "Buddhism Listening & Discussion" which seems to be the second biggest group with 300+ members. The biggest group is "Buddhists of SL" with over 580 members.

This all is very interesting!

Just a little snow on the ground

This morning I woke up to a snowstorm. But it soon turned over to a rain. But now on this Sunday afternoon we still have a little snow on the ground.
This winter have been very strange. In the beginning of January we still had plus degrees an no snow at all.

I have it here - still in its plastic envelope - the brand new Yoga Journal that came today.

In a time like this; a hectic pace at work, too little sunshine and too little sleep, one of the headings sounds promising and inspiring: "Get your energy flowing".

I will tear up the envelope and go to bed and have a nice time reading the new issue.
